Tamiya has produced many great cars and the classic Tamiya Street Devil #57174 1934 Ford Hot Rod is one of our favorites. This kit is extremely rare and is sought after by Tamiya collectors worlwide. It has many unique features including a body that was manufactured by Parma Inc. This is one of the few kit bodies that Tamiya did not mold and that fact alone makes Street Devil a sought after collectible.
The Street Devil uses Tamiya’s Group C style chassis that was only used on eleven other Tamiya kits and was Tamiya’s way of acknowledging the FIA Group C racing cars of the late 1980′s to early 1990′s. The chassis borrowed the front suspension from the Tamiya open wheel cars and uses a single shock for the rear supension.
We have two other cars in our collection that use this chassis, the Tamiya Daytona Thunder #58153 and the Tamiya Nissan r91 CP #58109.
