fastharry.com Tamiya Monster Beetle 58060 For Sale
Here’s your chance to own of the first 100 Tamiya collectible vintage classics. Purchased on Ebay about 10 years ago and approx 24 years old, they are part of the large RC collection featured on fastharry.com.
This is your chance to get an extraordinary piece of Tamiya history.
An original White Body Tamiya Monster Beetle #58060 Rc Kit AND, something you never see offered for sale anywhere, an original Tamiya White Body Monster Beetle body kit. White Body Monster Beetles are the rarest and were part of the first production runs. Later Monster Beetles were red molded plastic.
Both kits have been in our possession over 9 years and have been stored in a smoke free room.
The way you see the items is the way they were purchased at the time. Both boxes are a little rough with creasing and soiling over the covers and bottoms and sides. The Kit White box is does show a little age and is not perfectly pristine white. One side has a small piece of tape on it with a small crease also. If you need more pics, let us know. The kits inside are fine with sealed bags. The body in the 58060 kit has some slight markings/soiling on it from rubbing the kit box. All vintage Tamiya kits suffer from this from the way they were packed, BTW.

It was sold on EBAY about 3 months ago for 900 Dollars…
I have one of these in my possession with the white body, its very old and has been through the wars, one of the rear flare guards has half broken off, part the left front axle has had some damage and has been glued back together, its been sitting in my wardrobe in a box for years decided to get it out the other day and get it going but the steering mount to the servo broke, managed to fix it and now it sounds like the gearing in it needs fixing its making a loud clicking noise like the gears arnt connecting properly.
The body is pretty shit has been painted black very badly!! and the front mount hole has been broken, dont have the box or any anything else its just the car using my own ESC and controller.
I knew it was old but didnt know much else about it!

You should definitely get it running…there are plenty of parts for sale on EBAY….and you could strip the body and repaint it…or even use a newer Tamiya re release Sand Scorcher body on it…Thanks for visiting the site!
Yeah I plan on getting it running, Are you able to tell me what the second servo is used for?
The original Tamiya cars came with mechanical wiper arm speed control for the throttle…so you needed a second servo to control that…If you installed a ESC it eliminated the need for the second servo…Is your email good that you gave to comment?..we’ll send you a pic of what the stock set up looks like..
