This is a Kyosho Nitro Blizzard, and is powered by a Kyosho GS11x Nitro motor. It features full ball bearings and waterproofed electronics for outdoor use during the winter.
The Nitro Blizzard features Kyosho’s QRC (quick reverse change) transmission for forward and reverse operation and also has a 2 speed auto shift transmission for low end power when it climbs snow banks, and top speed when traveling on flat terrain. The Blizzard steers by applying brakes to one track at a time and is a real blast to drive on those cold snowy winter days when we need a break from working on our other projects.
We also own the first blizzard in the Kyosho series, the Kyosho Blizzard DX Caterpillar tractor from the mid 1980’s.
The body was custom painted by the crew at fastharry.com and is an exact replica of the Kyosho Blizzard pictured on the kit box.

Hi Dave..
The Blizzard in the Pic is a Nitro Motor and a Kit where you have to buy electronics and all. If this is what you want, Kyosho makes an updated model. (about 300 without radio gear)
They have also have recently announced a Ready to Run electric (RTR)…With a Plow no less..
