Cox Imsa .049 GTP RC Car
We love showing this beautiful example of a really cool vintage rc car. This classic Cox 049 GTP Nissan was manufactured in the late 1980’s to approx 1993. This example is really clean and it runs great. The .049 engine is started using a zip style starting strap. As you can see in the pics we have the original radio and battery box as well as the original zip starter. The car will run about 30 mph and makes a great sound that will bring you back to your youth.

i have one of these, the motor is stuck and i lost the zip cord through a couple of moves. it was a hoot back when it ran. as an aside do you have any one way front driveshafts for a schumacher cat xl? circa ’88-’89.

What is that small aluminum box that hooks up to the throttle because i see that some have one and some dont
are you talking about the box by the engine with the tubing on it?
Different type of throttle instead of the exhaust collar.

I have a new still in box Cox 0.49 GTP Nissan Vintage Remote Car. Can someone please tell how much I can get for it. I also have several Cox parts in a box for the Bandito and not sure about other parts. My father past and i found a box full of Cox Brand parts.

hi , I just purchased Nissan 83 kyosho gtp , later model , I looking for parts , radio sanwa sidewinder am 27 MHz 2 channel ,, one pull cord ,,and mini servo number 80111 with short wire , ? and small box with wires behind servo , I will need tires , there on ebay , so IF YOU HAVE PARTS FOR MY CAR PLEASE POST ON EBAY AND I WILL PURCHASE , DATE AUGUST 28 2018
