Vintage Tamiya PIAA Porsche 911 GT2 #58215 (Limited Edition)

This is a rare classic in the Tamiya line up, the Tamiya PIAA Porsche 911 #58215 4wd electric remote controlled touring car. It features the PIAA livery and Tamiyas sought after TA-03R-S 4wd chassis. This car features the PIAA livery which was only offered on three of  Tamiya’s remote control cars. The other two are the PIAA Accord VTEC Front Wheel Drive  #58186 and the PIAA Reynard 97D Nakajima F-103 chassied Formula One car #58198.

The Porsche was a limited edition remote control car that was introduced in the late 1990′s and features factory hop-ups included in the box. Among them is a Tamiya Sport tuned motor, full ball bearing set and front and rear sway bars. The lexan body is nicely detailed and features a cool whaletail wing. The TA-03 R-S chassis is a special shortened chassis and features belt drive and twin gearboxes.
